Congratulations go out to CADV's Jim and Elsa Croucher who were selected as co-recipients of the prestigious National Sunshine Lady Foundation's 2008 Sunshine Peace Award given by founder Doris Buffet, sister to Warren! The award recognizes extraordinary individuals who make a difference; those who help to build communities that are intolerant of domestic violence and through whose work people's lives are changed for the better. Candidates are nominated and judged on excellence in administration of programs and in victim advocacy. The Crouchers have also received special recognition for their work combating domestic violence from Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, U.S. Rep. John Boehner, and Ohio Senator Gary Cates. Elsa was also recently named of the "100 Extraordinary women" by Nabisco. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ THANK YOU!
